As you know we cannot play the Youtube video on background in mobile phones. Well why to play a video on background? Many people play their playlists in Youtube. So at times they might have to multitask without interrupting the music video or any other video.
Here is a very simple trick that will amaze you and overcome the issue. This trick does not involve any additional app or software. There will be two different methods for iPhone and Android mobile phones.
Let’s start with iPhone devices.
iPhone Devices
Follow below steps
- Rather than opening the Video in Youtube app open the mobile site in your browser and navigate to the video.
- Let it start playing then just click on home button. Well it does not play isn’t it? Don’t worry step three will solve it.
- Open up your quick control tab by swiping up and click on Play icon.
- This should play the Youtube video which was stopped in your browser
- Well there is no step 5 😛 Enjoy listening songs in background.
For Android it is much simpler
Android Devices
- Open the video in your browser rather than opening it in app.
- Navigate to your video and click on play.
- Now just click on home button.
- You can notice it is playing in background 🙂 Enjoy.
